To all, After market close, TERADYNE INC said it won an $8 million contract to provide its 4TEL maintenance system to Hungary's national telecommunications company. 4TEL is a remote maintenance system that tests and analyzes customer phone lines and identifies telephone line problems. Teradyne will provide 4TEL systems to monitor the Hungarian Telecommunications Company's two million lines. Teradyne said the award was its third major equipment deal in the last four months.
