Sounds like Geron has a dream which may or may not come to pass. Hopefully, it will.

QLT has an approved drug being used for a variety of treatments globally; and a Phase III trial underway for AMD (completes this year).

From what I've seen so far, Geron won't have a competitive drug approved in less than 3 years, if ever.

Very interesting. Interesting enough for a 45% pop in GERN's price!
I will certainly look into it. To bad it's today instead of yesterday :( The science makes sense, but you never know about these things until they undergo scientific scrutiny....then there's FDA approval. I only glanced, but I don't think they are much more along than proving they have a good idea. Making it pay off is another long hurdle to get through. Probably a long time before they make any money, but it could be one to accumulate. Thanks for the tip.
