Hi Jim,

It does appear that we have more than a few things in common. Is your wife Dutch by any chance? Mine is; pure Dutch; man can they watch their pennies (and mine).

Most of what I know about investing I learned from reading William J. O'neil's book, "How to Make Money in Stocks." I was in Borders yesterday and they had piles of 'em in the finance section. Good reading, and if you're willing to quickly cut losses, even in stocks you like, you can do really well with his system. I think... Anything else I know I've probably learned at Hard Knock Cafe and Silicon Investor.

My wife's folks live in Renton so every once in awhile I get to Washington. I really love it there, don't take the natural beauty of your state for granted. Speaking of beauty, the one-year chart for Cosco sure looks nice (have a look at a 3-month chart for CREAF. It's all that much more sickening when you see the fundamentals)

Speaking of Washington I am constantly on the lookout for Microsoft employees on vacation. They'll usually let me shop at the Company Store when I'm in town. I've been buying their software for about 10 cents on the dollar for about 3 years now. They give their employees the right to purchase up to $1000 a year (at those prices).

Well I have a birthday party to go to so I gotta git.

Go COST (and CREAF)

Aloha, Mike

PS: Is Kirkland (as in every other product in Cosco) a pubic company?
