You're 100% right, thanks, that might be a great suggestion for someone looking for a pasta substitute...

But I have no interest in pasta or anything that even looks like pasta, I'm not a pasta person and I'm not looking for something to replace pasta...

If pasta or anything like it were removed from the planet I wouldn't even know it was gone...

I just purchased a spiralizer from Amazon and read a lot of reviews on different brands.

Most liked this type of kitchen appliance, but the chief complaints were:
  • The suction cups didn't hold to the counter.
  • Vegetables that are firm such as carrots or sweet potato are harder to cut.
  • Vegetables that have larger seeds are harder to cut and clog up the blades.
Zucchini is apparently the optimum vegetable to cut with these.

I am however optimistic this appliance will be useful in my kitchen and will report back. :)

This is the unit I purchased.

Best -- Josh :)
