Okay, then the very least you could do is state what the downside is. For example, in five years under the cancelled agreement, Iran would be free to highly enrich using modern centrifuges. Getting rid of that permit sure as hell isn't a downside.

It was just a stupid deal. Period.

Now, Lane makes a perfectly good point that that's no longer the issue (just like, e.g., when the intelligence changed during the Iraq War, you don't start from the beginning in re-forming your strategy, you start from where you are -- but you weren't lying to begin with).

What matters now is downside today, and I say there is none. I have stated several times what I believe it to be.

You have yet to present a cogent argument against that.
