What matters now is downside today, and I say there is none.

It's just fucking stupid to say there is none, to say there is none is to assume you see every possibility, and you just can't. This is a gamble.

There could be a hot war that escalates...or Iran could be very smart and tell the EU and China that they will stick to the agreement if they agree to ignore new sanctions by the US....leaving the US an outside irrelevant outside observer. After leaving the TPP, the Paris agreement, and with the tariff bs, the EU and China may be happy to agree to that.

For example, in five years under the cancelled agreement, Iran would be free to highly enrich using modern centrifuges.

If Iran backs out of the agreement now, then they are free to enrich uranium now with modern centrifuges.

And your claims are bogus. Iran would not be free to do what you claim under the agreement. They are only allowed a small number of older centrifuges until 2031. You also "forget" to mention another detail. Under the agreement, Iran cannot produce weapons grade plutonium. Without it, well...

It is pretty clear that your opposition to the deal is based on made up "information". The scary thing is, it is probably the same with Trump. It is hard to see the upside to making decisions based on fake news...

"the very least you could do is state what the downside is"

Conventional war between Israel, Saudi Arabia and US vs. Iran, Iraq, Syria, Russia, Palestinian population, and maybe China, plus Turkey vs Kurds, becoming a nuclear war between the US and Russia.
