And no, this isn't a sign of superiority. Except maybe among FUBHO's buddies. Some of whom have seized on the Neanderthal theory and tout that Neanderthal genes do result in superiority. On the plus side, at least they don't think of Neanderthals as sub-human primitives.
Speaking of vitamin D, they recently found that those who possess the genes for shoveled teeth have denser hair follicles and mothers pass more vitamin D in their milk to their infants. The gene is common in eastern Asia and among native Americans.
