Sorry. I am a Intel long and shouldn't have added any of my comments. I should have been just a messanger. I am glad that the INTC report is a good one. BTW, how do we punish such reporters who make up such a really biased reporting?

Eugene:

re "This is a real good q, Maya. No denying it.And the year looks rather profitable, and will lead to a huge 1999."

It is not surprising that the spin doctors have managed to put a negative slant on Intel's earnings. My guess is that they are covering for their client's short positions, the one they advised them to take. The 30% drop in Intel from it's high of 102 certainly had some big money players behind it.

I am fully invested and do not intend to buy or sell on what the stock does tomorrow or for the foreseeable future. Yesterday's report vindicated my long term position in the stock and I couldn't care less what the anal ysts say about it.

Best Regards,

Greg Gimelli
