So tell us snowflake why capitalism hasn't worked for the last 40 years to lower drug prices???? Or did we have socialism during 20 years of Reagan, Bush sr and Bush Jr.?????Democratic socialism in Europe WORKED for drug prices to be 1/10th what they are in the US. So tell us your brilliant conclusion...

I agree. That's the free market model. Health care costs for things government insurance doesn't cover - lasik eye surgery and plastic surgery - has actually dropped over time.

But then there'd be no reason for Novartis to shell out $1.2M in protection money.
