OK, but that just adds to the cost. And it means that I have more support costs, up front, to install new video cards into each machine. It is just silly. I'm sure that at nearly zero cost to Sun, they could offer a better graphics card. But they probably won't do this because they see this as competition for their higher-end systems, which have better graphics. But this thinking will eat them alive in the end. This thinking at IBM's PC division alive. Also, your assumption that the drivers will be there anytime soon if at all is highly speculative at best. At best, the support will not be as good as it is for PCs.
