You are right about the vote outcome. I have zero argument with that. But on individual votes by people who might go one way or another their vote may have swung to Trump because of Comey's actions - I think that is silly to believe that did not happen. THEN add to that the influence by the Russians who clearly used mass marketing through facebook and that too clearly must have influenced people. Put those votes together and I think their vote determined the election. BUT he is our President and I accept that. I think anyone arguing the above point is so stuck in their own ideology that they would release Trump even if he shot a person walking down the street in broad daylight.

Interesting, Brian. I'm a Trump voter, but I also think that Comey knee-capped Clinton and likely influenced the election. I'm guessing that significant numbers of people were deflated by that last minute turn of events and left with just enough suspicion to decide to skip the whole thing.

I agree, however, with you that the Russian meddling had zero impact. The Russian efforts were just more of the same things other legal enterprises were doing and they spent a miniscule amount on them.
