Mike,
Companies like ZONA use stockholder money to manipulate the price of the stock. They sold shares in a secondary and have announced the intention to use $ten million to buy back shares. The reason for this is twofold, its gives inexperienced investors hope and creates a market where the insiders can sell off some stock. The net effect is the company is buying shares from the insiders.
