The market simply will not give this company a single dollar of valuation which it doesn't scratch and claw for, proving itself every step of the way. I guess the bright part is that the downside is substantially more limited than in more high-flying issues. So I suppose we have to fall back on the old maxim... sooner or later, earnings will determine a company's worth. If (1) the fashion trend away from basketball to skate sticks (although it hasn't been endorsed by the black community, and it's a tough mass-market sell without that), and (2) VANS executes the hell out of its great position in the market, then we could see big upside potential. I'd like to see more a more multi-ethnic bent to the advertising. Less white-boy-centric stuff. I think it would do them good. Bill
