"I like to make as much money as the next guy, but not at the expense of others"

Drawing an exact line there has always been tricky. Talents and skills should be rewarded. But what is a reasonable spread between an hour of unskilled labor and an hour of extremely skilled labor 10x, 100x, 1000x? Or should that spread be left to the market to decide and then put some kind of wealth redistribution into place like the old estate tax? Or should it just be ensured that everybody is entitled to at least some some basic, modest standard of living and let the market decide how the surplus above that gets divided?

Beats me but when a guy can work a year sitting in an comfy office and earn more than what some other guy can make in a dozen lifetimes breaking his back doing manual labor, it starts to seem a little silly.

Sure some people do amazing, incredibly valuable things, maybe even priceless things (like say for example in the future cure cancer), but there has to be a line. Society cant just say "congrats you cured cancer Now, here is all the wealth in the world. keep it as long you want. Enjoy...."
