Thank you Bob for sharing your diet history. I'm leaning more to reducing carbs also and one thing I've been doing is substituting pearl barley for rice. Barley has a significantly lower glycemic index and much more fiber than rice.

Best -- Josh

Hi Bob,

i highly endorse you analysis of the deficiencies of you diet that got you in trouble and reserve the highest
praise and accolades that you have the great intelligence and wisdom to correctly assess.... the weaknesses
in you diet (I was right there with you blow for blow.... with a few minor differences in Houston)

and the ability to make mid course / mid life adjustments ... speaks to me volumes of
1) you were aware of the deficienciencies of your diet.
2) you were extremely discipline to make the broad-sweeping changing. to greatly reduce empty carbs and
also to understand the correct manner in which you can used photo-nutrient rich vegetables, and some fruits
that are rich in vitamins, elements, such as zinc, selenium, tumeric,,,cinnamon and other power nutrients/

all of this demonstrates to me superior analytic skills and abilities......
,,, which could not occur without your ability to analysis , interpret and then implement modifications,

(which I have also done over the past several years.) so I am right there with you and feel I am speaking
to a kindred spirit..... Onions, and garlic in there natural state are also powerful medicine, as are tomotoes
and I am firm believer in Jalapenos and a few other hot peppers also helping to power the body with
photo-nutrients, and natural lightly processed crops such as tea, and green tea, that need no pesitisides
and are rich in photo nutrients. coffee in moderation is also powerfully full of anti oxidants.

In summation I really must give you high kudos for you enlightenment on this area essential to optimal
human body and mind functioning ....... which is yielded by a superior diet.

my very best regards....

John
