Trump got China, SK, Japan and Russia to cooperate to the fullest.

Actually, it was Obama that got the others to go along with sanctions. Obama kept ratcheting them up before Trump did. True, Trump increased them, but he was just following Obama's lead.

The sanctions are the key to everything. ...Trump got China, SK, Japan and Russia to cooperate to the fullest...I find it difficult to believe that Trump would start relaxing the sanctions right now.

People keep saying that.

But Trump does not control the sanctions. The primary feeder to NK is China and China has already backed off Trump's tough sanctions and is now suggesting that the UN should drop them. If China doesn't engage, your "key to everything" is, while not toothless, falls short of tough and may be insufficient.

So, while it may be a good idea in theory, it's not a basket suitable for storing all of one's eggs. Blind trust is, er, blinding.

<<<<The sanctions are the key to everything>>>>>

Trumps record on sanctions is not very impressive. Remember he wanted to lift sanctions on Russia too but congress pushed back. .........Might be sanctions against Canada though on the milk deal.
