Joey:

RE: "Of course, they tell me the work and hours are very long and demanding, but they're "taken care of".

BUT, AMD's CEO (Jerry Sanders III) is well taken care of, too, b/c of his stock options.

Joey, Cut the crap! Intel upon announceing earnings, locally Intel announced the firing of 1000 chip workers in Chandler, Hasta la vista! Also workers are being asked to change positions at substantial pay reductions. One examle: 13 year veteran worker get $19.50 per hour is being asked to take $12.50 in the new position with the promise of making $25.00 in the future. When he asked Intel human resources to put it in writing about when he could look forward to being paid the $25.00 they said they could not put it in writng. In his own words he said they must think I'm stupid. We worked like Dogs for them this year and no Christmas bonus. So much for Intel taking care of i's people. Get lost!
