I had a very powerful dream last night and when I awoke my first thoughts were to share it on this thread.

It was a short dream but very intense.

Sitting in bed with my wife, we were enjoying some sort of eastern/Indian show where 2 women and one man sitting on the floor were playing eastern type music and rolling balls up and down these U shaped devices about 2 feet tall. They were very ornate/purpleish with lots of jewels covering them. A very wierd spectacle but rather calming and fun.

Then there was very abrupt banging of the door. Immediatly one of the women ran around the corner of the room and hid behind a partition.

A very powerful tall man came in the room and immediatly went to the woman who was behind the partition and started beating her. He was at least 7 feet tall and was here husband. She pleaded with him not to hurt her but he continues and then started to drag her out of the room.

He was dressed very elegently, white robes, very detaild buttons and sashes and was wearing a beautiful turbin. I believe he was a Sihk but am not sure as "Jakarta" was racing through my head ( probably from watching Asian markets before going to bed).

Anyway, I decided to be brave and told him to stop. He came over to me, stood over me ( I think he was 8' tall at this time), right over me and our faces were about 2 feet apart ( as I am 6'). He very emphatically told me 'I HATE YOU'). At that point I thought for sure he was going to decapitate me so I awoke.

It was very intense.

By the way, I am not Asian and in St. Louis do not see to many Sihks.

What do you think??

Howdy Christine,

You didn't correct my spelling directly...I just noticed I "butchered" both of the politician's names yesterday and you spelled
them correctly (remember the two Dicks? Better known as the GOZinYA twins) <heh, heh>

As for being near a college campus...no, but the precursor to this market and product for all communication companies was the "on campus" phone system.

I worked for Sprint for over 5 years as a National Program Manager. It was there that I "cut my teeth" on both the telephony industry and the college & university markets. I was hired because I had a background of sales, management, mis (computers) and support. Since the product was brand new they weren't sure what direction it would go and so they looked for someone with more variety rather than one or two strong suits. I was VERY fortunate. Our program went from 3 institutions (year one) to around 140 when I decided to move on. We had a good team!

With today's technology location is basically a non-issue. If there was a benefit relative to location it would be the central time zone (for obvious reasons.) Other items to be considered (depending on your product and service) is the available personnel to fill positions, vendors, subcontractors who are familiar with the technology, "points-of-presence" (i.e. local and/or long distance POPs, etc.)and a reasonably good transportation environment (especially airlines.) Although most of these are secondary concerns.

Whew...I better be careful..before I know it you're going to know more than me...than what???? ;-)

Hope this clarified that a little more...

T.R.
