"They own this whole mess"
I guess they've seen thru "The Dems did this,"

"Didn't Trump last week say he wouldn't support any of the bills? "
That would be good; even better if his veto gets overridden.

I'm anticipating the first bi-partisan, legislation overriding a Trump veto on this breaking up families issue. I could happen very fast - but can it clear the House?

NO. Trump has repeatedly said on TV and in tweet storms that he wants legislation that will fix the problem.
You and others like you remain ignorant because you assume the MSM is telling you all the facts of a given situation. But they don't. Your media picks and chooses what it wants liberals to know.
This is a fascist propaganda technique. Withholding meaningful information is the same as publishing lies, imo.

Google is your friend. One has to remain skeptical with regard to the media and rely on themselves to ferret out all the relevant facts in an event.

Yes, Reps are finally rushing to put up bills. They do own this mess because they've tried to ignore their own voters who have asked from the git-go for a rational approach to immigration. They joined in with Democrats in letting corporate desires for a constant glut of cheap labor rule the day.

Now their own pollsters are telling them they are caught in a crosswind of both Dem and Rep voters who want this to end. Maybe each side wants it for different reasons but both want it.

It's my opinion that congressional Dems had better get on board and stop trying to maneuver for open borders. It's only a matter of time before the black vote realizes cheap Hispanic labor hurts their community and starts asking why Democrats are letting it happen.
