I know it's easy to confuses people for sheep in New Zealand.

When each Kiwi ewe is born it's important that the vet tick the correct [] human or [] sheep box on the live birth certificate.

Kiwi taxpayers get outraged if they pay educational costs for too many of the sheep.

Most of our gay male friends now have children. It's not something 20 years ago I would have expected to be seeing them sign up for it, but sign up for it they have. Unlike New Zealand which is so focused on separating humans from sheep, in the US it's not a pretense that their children have legal parents.

Not doing so would be as silly as the practice of Kiwi colleges handing out sheepskin diplomas to mutton.

I went with my niece last week to a drive-thru with about 10 cars in the line-up. Every time she pulled up to close the space she would shut the engine off with one last time at the window to pay for and receive the order. I mentioned quietly idling in a reasonably fast moving line would burn less fuel than firing up her old-jalopy ten times over five minutes. She informed me her act of killing the ignition and wearing out her starter was to make a statement she cares for the environment.
