Your dad was a smart man. My mom also helped me a lot. She grew up in abject poverty one of 13 children. But she was smart and learned to read and educated herself. She read constantly and used to say:"I can clean the house or read a book-lol. She had the Republicans figured out to. she lived with me that last 20 years of her life and she said it was her happiest years. She helped me raise my younger daughter who is a scientist. She was so kind. I was raised without punishment and raised my kids without punishment. I was a nice kid. My older daughter went to Berkeley and is a lawyer.
