I am reminded of an old Woody Allen quote (paraphrased):

"Here we stand at the crossroads between complete annihilation and utter hopelessness. Lets pray we have the wisdom to make the right choice"

So with the previous .33 from the first 9 months, a YE EPS of .44-.50 would put 4th Q EPS at .11-.17.

Is that right or would the warrant dilution make 4th Q EPS much higher than that?

Starbuck,

I was told it would "knock our socks off" and "permanently" raise the stock price.

I'm curious - were those "his" exact words? If so, that's a pretty gutsy statement to make publicly.

I have been sitting here thinking about today's price action and the following comments posted by Starbuck:

I also got word from Mr. Fearnow's office. They also indicated big news (Thurs-Mon). I was told it would "knock our socks off" and permanently" raise the stock price. I asked if to $6.5. The response was as a minimum. Obviously, there is no way to know. It was indicated that the MMs were the ones messing around with the price today in order to get cheap shares.

Lets presume, for the sake of argument, that everything Starbuck posted is true. There is huge news about to be released and the MMs know about it. What do you suppose this news would be? Here are some possibilities (in no particular order and with little, if any, evidence to suggest that anything presented below will actually happen:

- A political compromise in the SC VGM war. Given the level of rhetoric coming out of SC and the fact the legislative session just started, I don't think this is too likely.

- New acquisition in SC. Given the current political and investment climate for BNGO, would such an announcement be received so positively? I don't think so.

- New acquisition outside of SC. I would see this as a positive development but would such a thing be viewed as a "knock your socks off" deal? Maybe but I think most people are expecting something along these lines given past statements by BNGO and all the warrant cash
available. Also, would this be a bingo deal or a low-end gaming deal?

- Blockbuster 4th Quarter earnings. Again, I'm sure this would be seen as a positive development but it seems too early for BNGO to make such an announcement. I mean, the 4th quarter just ended 2 weeks ago and they have the warrant situation and Darlington to incorporate
into their accounting. Would they really be ready to make public earnings announcement yet?

- BNGO being acquired by some larger entity. Boy, there is a piece of speculation! But who knows? Anything is possible I guess.

I realize the above is pure speculation - my crystal ball is no clearer than anybody else's. Does anybody else have any ideas? Given today's price action, it sure seems to me that something is happening behind the scenes.

Hi All,

I must correct a past post I made today (#6346). I said 4th QTR EPS were estimated at $.44 (also .48-.50). it should have been $.44 for the year not for the quarter. I didn't get in a detailed conversation regarding EPS, but it was indicated that $.44 is the final estimated EPS for 97.

I apologize for the error and not catching it before posting to the thread.

I don't think these estimates are something overly wonderful, so there must be some sort of aquisition news. Your guess is as good as mine.

Once again, sorry for the error.
