The Art of Losing!..U.S. troops lash out at Donald Trump’s child concentration camps, setting stage for unprecedented conflict
Bill Palmer | 11:35 pm EDT June 25, 2018
palmerreport.com

Numerous U.S. military veterans have publicly lashed out at Donald Trump’s inhumane and unconstitutional decision to abduct immigrant children from their parents and lock them inside cages in what can only be described as concentration camps. Of course they’re not the ones being ordered to help carry out Trump’s atrocities. Now some active duty U.S. troops are lashing out at Trump’s camps as well, setting up an unprecedented conflict not seen in modern American history.

U.S. soldiers, some of whom have been stationed in and around the military sites being considered for Donald Trump’s next round of immigrant concentration camps, are expressing moral outrage about the camps to the Daily Beast. Their names are being withheld from print for obvious reasons. So what happens when the construction of these camps gets underway just days from now? How many other U.S. troops at these installations are morally outraged? How many of them consider this to be an illegal order?

During the course of his illegitimate presidency, Donald Trump has run afoul of just about everyone. The U.S. intel community is actively working to expose him and take him down for his various crimes. He’s been at war with federal judges, members of Congress, you name it. Now even portions of the U.S. military don’t seem to be sure if they can go along with his criminal orders.

We don’t know what happens next. Historically speaking, military coups very rarely tend to work out well for existing democracies that have gone off the rails. But we’re now facing the very real possibility that at least some members of the U.S. military are about to refuse to follow Donald Trump’s immoral and illegal orders. If he starts locking U.S. soldiers in cages for refusing to participate in his atrocities, it could cost him whatever support he has left with the American public.

Locogringo, I'll never understand the "logic" of the liberal Supreme Court justices:

Supreme Court upholds travel ban - CNNPolitics
Justice Sonia Sotomayor, in a blistering dissent, said the court was wrong to ignore Trump's various comments. "The majority here completely sets aside the President's charged statements about Muslims as irrelevant," she wrote. "That holding erodes the foundational principles of religious tolerance that the court elsewhere has so emphatically protected, and it tells members of minority religions in our country 'that they are outsiders, not full members of the political community.'"
So because Trump said mean things about Muslims in the past, his travel ban should be tossed out even if it doesn't discriminate based on religion.

I was one of the first to denounce Trump when he called for banning Muslims, but that's in the past now. His travel ban is based on country of origin and NOT religious belief, yet Justice Sotomayor thinks that doesn't matter because Trump is a big fat meanie.
