I completely agree with you about the rec issue, that's really just an individual preference and I wouldn't ask someone to remove their rec, that seems out of place... but, I see no problem with a moderator banning someone if they violate the rules of that thread... banning the moderator so the moderator's questions to that poster cannot be seen is inappropriate and rude...someone who places me on ignore on one of the forums I moderate would most definitely be deleted from the list of participants engaging in dialogue on that forum...

I was over zealous, but what happened was I asked Don to remove a rec or prove me wrong, which he didn't and instead put me on ignore that continues.

The goal at Computer Learning is to give accurate information.

Btw, After research, Eric L. found that neither Don or I were completely right.

Don is knowledgeable about computers and I hope he will participate at Computer Learning in the future and he is no longer banned.
