As I like to point out, religious people who obsess about life starting conception and who also oppose birth control (think traditional Catholic) give nary a single thought and certainly show no remorse whatsoever to producing multiple zygotes that fail to implant as the woman slides past reproductive age. Now if they REALLY believed that those zygotes where human, would they not take at least some MINOR precautions to not needlessly produce them, only to doom them because implantation fails as the woman ages? If as many of them do, they seek to have the government regulate (Ah, regulation, which they claim to abhor) abortion, why should the government not also regulate sex when its determined that zygotes are likely to be produced, but implantation will fail. Surely people who willfully engage in such activity are no different than people who use abortion for birth control. They clearly care not a whit about those souls they produce and discard with abandon.
