Piyush Patel: CEO and President
Mr. Patel brings more than 17 years of high technology leadership to YAGO. His experience includes managing critical microprocessor development for Intel, Sun, MIPS Systems and QED. Mr. Patel has assumed various technical and management leadership roles resulting in the completion of five microprocessors including Intel's i286, i386, i860 and Sun's UltraSparc-I and UltraSparc-II. Mr. Patel was also involved in strategic marketing and business development driving product definition and business partnerships. Mr. Patel holds an MS degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Romulus Pereira: CTO and Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Pereira brings YAGO more than 10 years LAN/WAN experience. Prior to co-founding YAGO he was at Cisco Systems and Kalpana. At Cisco, Mr. Pereira was part of Cisco's Fusion Architecture Group. He drew from his routing and switching backgrounds to contribute to the architecture of high-speed Layer-3 switching devices and ATM networking. At Kalpana, he was the software architect for Cisco's Catalyst 3000 family line and was instrumental in driving hardware interface specifications and designing hybrid switching engines that maximized performance and minimized cost. Prior to Kalpana, Mr. Pereira was at the Wollongong Group in Palo Alto, where he designed high performance TCP/IP routing stacks for various platforms and developed software-based LAN and WAN routing solutions. He was also involved in the early development of the SNMP protocol. Mr. Pereira holds an MS degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Nilesh Shah: Director, Hardware Engineering
Mr. Shah brings YAGO more than 16 years of network industry experience. Prior to co-founding YAGO he was at Cisco Systems where he worked on the architecture and development of low cost 10/100Mb switches and a Gigabit Ethernet switching architecture. Prior to Cisco, Mr. Shah was at Kalpana, where he was involved in the hardware architecture for Cisco's Catalyst 3000, in particular he was instrumental in developing innovative buffer and table memory architecture. An industry veteran, Mr. Shah has worked at GE Calma, Excelan, and Ultra Network technologies where he was recognized for developing high performance 250 Mb/sec full duplex LAN adapters. He began his career in the mid 1980's designing intelligent LAN I/O interfaces with integrated protocol processing. Mr. Shah holds an MS degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
