Thanks Kirk,

As a young boy I always had labradors.

Had them until we started to travel more - hated going to the kennel to drop of my dog.

They came stressed and sometimes sick.

So we had a cat decide to move in with us - found out they were loving beasts

Normally only had one then two.

Two years ago a small kitten fell in our kitchen window well Cute Calico that was also Chimera (fur changes color straight down her nose and lower belly).

Then last year this little black cat with a shortened tail came by and I gave it a bowl of dry food - she came back to eat two more days and the third day she shows up with 2 kittens.

About 2 more days later two big tom's show up and hang around.

We've had them all spayed and neutered and keep them dewormed and well fed.

One of the kittens was a black male. He was aggressive and played hard - just looked like a future general in the cat army. LOL

Once we got him in the house - we determined he had ring worm. That required him to be quarantined.

Since he was just separated from his MOM I decided I'd sleep with him during the quarantine period. Every morning I had to take a fungicide shower to prevent getting ring worm myself - it is very contagious.

So the little black kitten imprinted on me and I have a shadow everywhere I go.

Never thought I'd get that attached to a cat or cats, but now they are like our kids that we never had.

Life is so precious - we must value you it every moment.

Thank You for the thoughtful card!

Bob
