Even though the last few days performance has been disappointing, there WAS a 16,000 share buy near the close.

thanks for the recap of the announcement. I had forgot
that they had pre announced. I wonder why
these companies such as HMTT and wdc are still
trading on pe's of less than 10!! The glut seems to
be ending and the demand seems to be increasing.(discs)
Sure wdc might have suppressed profits due to price wars
but the manufacuters of discs and the machines used to
make them , will keep profits up as sales continue to grow
dispropotionate to their PE's (IVAC still has a 70%market share of the
single disc sputtering systems)
Things look pretty strong for this small cap.
Hopefully, the rest of the disc drive industry
will be viewed as having a bright future, which
it looks as though they do. Intevac, being
at the beginning of the food chain, might be the
first to start moving. More machines, more high
capacity discs, more drives, off we go.
