Joanna, I'm surprised you linked the "old" ML comment. The new one last Weds. 1/8/98 said to "not expect much upside in the recent quarter due to rebuilding the backlog" Stock sold off from that point forward. It looks like the analyst (Bruce Smith) got some guidance on that statement. Why would ML change their stance in 8 days otherwise? I'm certain that they won't blow away numbers, expect 1 or 2 cents better -no more- maybe even the .47 the street is expecting. Don't forget, the new coo from netg is more conservative also.
