Jeff, I tried to see what you see and I didn't see anything special. Of the drillers, FLC chart should be looked at as an exception and not the norm. If you pick anyone other than FLC most still hover close to the lower BB. I have never tested the angle of the bands for any special significance. But if you think you are seeing something special, you need to articulate better. We can all learn.

I bottom fished today with PTEN. The land drillers other than PKD are still doing very miserably. If there is further upside I don't expect them to lag behind the rest percentage wise. If Mr. Palmer say THE TIME IS NOW on CNBC tomorrow, get ready to watch the lawn burn.

Mike Simmons - the best way to check if any TA is good is to backtest them, especially the last two months since we seem to develop into a declining wave pattern here. For example, the long stochastics which worked wonderfully for a long stretch in 1997 was not at all useful in predicting the short term peaks we had in the past 2 months. The short term (SO) stochastics seems to do a better job.
