If this "war" materializes it'll be financial and that's why the petro yuan is so important. With a petro-yuan the US dollar collapses and the war is over within a matter of minutes. A new world order will begin without the US.

Everybody talks about the $500B+ imports from China. But that is a very misleading number. Take the case of the iPhone. You pay $1200 for the iPhone, of which $400 is Apple's profit. Another $400 is the cost of the material used in manufacturing. Of the remaining $400, only $40 is China's share. The rest is the profit by various distributors and component makers along the way. So imposing a $300 tariff on a $40 profit from China doesn't seem quite right.

There was a detailed analysis of the supply chain that I posted somewhere, but I can't find it now. Google is your best friend if you want to dig in deeper, but the gist of it is what I said above.
