If you read the NYTimes you would have known that a few days ago about NK.

Too bad you're just watching Fox.

Most democrats aren't hoping for what you think they're hoping for. They're hoping our government will solve the health care crisis. They would like the government to stop handing over all the booty to the rich- while ballooning the deficit. And of course, they don't want the US to keep losing on trade (nor do they want some moron handing out 12 billion to corporate farms as he staggers around making "deals"). And no one but China wants China to continue unchecked- is that why Trump has most of his Trump crap made in China?

It would be nice if we got some good out of Trump- I don't give a crap about 60 year old human remains- but better trade deals would be nice, if they happen. What we have now is a truce. We'll see if anything actually comes of it or if the EU plays Trump.

And your fixation with illegals is just weird. Did MS13 rape your daughter or something?

I guess you pay attention mostly to Fox- but if you read EU papers, you would know the EU folks are pissed, and want a harder line on the negotiations.

That is very short sighted in so many ways. You only pay attention to headlines and Trump pronouncements that put his spin on events. I still believe that Trump will end up disgraced and maybe even in jail. We'll see in the ripeness of time.

Your question is in the category of "When did you stop beating your wife?" So disingenuous. So clever! You are not the same Kate before you disappeared for awhile, I think it was to care for a relative? I guess you forgot McConnell and the Rs vow to continually disrupt the Obama administration and ensure that he would fail. And so they did, abusing the rules of the Senate in ways that no one had ever done before.

Big of N.K. to return dead bodies, especially since so many of their relatives ave pleaded with Trump to get them returned. And big of them to "dismantle" nuclear sites.

Don’t Be Fooled by North Korea’s Dismantling of Rocket Test Site
Bruce Klingner
The National InterestJuly 25, 2018

Satellite imagery indicates North Korea has begun to dismantle its Sohae rocket-engine test facility and space-vehicle launch stand.

The dismantlement is a welcome, though limited, development, because Pyongyang indicated the site was no longer necessary after having successfully completed its missile and nuclear programs.

In April, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un declared that “we no longer need any nuclear tests, midrange and intercontinental ballistic rocket tests, and the nuclear-test site in the northern area has also completed its mission.”

And as for trade--

I realize that Trump loves to give himself credit for everything good, but the truth is the world has been moving toward reducing and eliminating tariffs for years now. Not only with TPP, but the EU-Japan agreement as well. As I have noted elsewhere, here is a sentence from the article that announced the EU-Japan agreement that eliminated tariffs:
"The major step toward liberalizing trade has been discussed since 2013."
www.apnews.com/...

Except they did it through the hard work of prolonged negotiations over years instead of bomb throwing and bluster.

I'm sure that there have been talks over the past few years between the US and the EU, but the EU knows that if they dare mention that fact, Trump will blow up and dismiss them. And of course the US was talking with Japan and many other Asian countries in the TPP negotiations, "The worst deal ever" (except of course for NAFTA, Iran and every other deal that Obama and Democrats ever made). Yeah, I know, I'm just a Donald Hater since I actually look at context and seek truth even if it lies outside of His Pronouncements. Which it almost always does.

If NK does that, it will be great!

Given their history, I would be skeptical. Given their history, bribery does work to a limited extent. So paying them a few hundred thousand per body would likely work. I would suggest a DNA test before payment, though.

"But US intelligence leaks earlier in July suggested that clandestine work to upgrade Pyongyang’s nuclear capability continues at the officially acknowledged Yongbyon nuclear enrichment facility, at two or more secret sites and at other facilities developing mobile launch vehicles for ballistic missiles."
