THANKS K!

Life has its tough times - my wife is definitely the better half.

Always by my side, during my life's toughest moments - never to be forgotten during the happy times.

All too easy to do.

Bob

Thanks Kimberly. I would also add that the children (6) and grandchildren (11 for now) also make life at this age very enjoyable. My first girl friend (we are FB friends) told me she would never have kids ---> that was not for me. True to her word, she is ~ 64 years old, single (all her life), and no kids. She's had a lot of relationships but no marriage or children.

Many of my high school friends have no family (or very small families). That's a personal choice and I respect it --- but it ain't me. I can't imagine being my age and not having a family.

I had some sort of odd taste for women. One gal I liked in college told me one day as we were driving home that she was taking vows of celibacy to be a bride of Christ. That pretty much put an end to my interest in her :) Then there was a gal I THOUGHT FOR SURE I would marry. We knew each other for several years, she had wonderful Christian parents, 4 siblings, and one of the most gentle souls I've ever known. When the subject of marriage came up her dad wrote me a very nice letter and told me the timing was not good and she had some personal issues to work through. Today we are FB friends and it turns out she's gay. I HAD NO FRIGGIN' CLUE!.
