Looked at the monthly... I can see how one might view it terms of the market being close to the top of W3 since 2009. Wouldn't be my first preference... but Mr Market doesn't ask me for advice very often. It's possible. The more immediately relevant thing is that if this ED were to turn out to be the 5th since Feb 2016, that could be a serious bull trap. Lots of people are waiting for new ATH before deciding it's "safe" to re-enter the market... and many shorts will look to bail out at new highs. Interesting juncture. I wouldn't be a heavy shorter of volatility here.
