Oh yeah, after "The Hound of the Baskervilles"... by sir Arthur Conan Doyle... The hound that didn't bark. Failed setups become excellent signals in the opposite direction. Allan talked about these things a lot. My favorite is failed H&S... your example is spot on. I mentioned earlier the concern that the ED out of the early April low may prove to be W5 - and a potential setup for a major league bull trap. It needs to be considered. But, there are bullish options open as well. One possibility would be a series of 1s and 2s out of Wave E of the triangle, in early May.
