Well AFCI sure handled the contraversy in telecomm well today. LU, ADCT and DIGI all took spills today but AFCI showed its resilience.

PMylnar,

We have some overlap on our stock ideas. Do you own AFCI? This is a great company. I am getting too cute on trying to get into this one. I should probably just buy it. I am not worried about China but AFCI seems to be diverting attention away from the baby bell customers by stressing growth through the CLEC's. I guess the market doesn't really care that AFCI is not signing up the bells like they were previously expected to. The stock was probably thrown out by a lot of owners who just didn't want Asian exposure. AFCI dominates small subcriber line DLC spending but that alone is not going to get them HUGE. It will be interesting to see how the guidance is on the March quarter without any new RBOC wins.

I also wonder what happens if DIGI gets acquired. Its stock price is in the tank and I can think of a few potential acquirers which could hurt AFCI's stock price. hmmm.
