Hey Kirk, Sorry Kirk, Taxes are not a tariffs. Taxes in California pay for the infrastructure necessary for a great economic environment.

Look at what California has.

1) More manufactures than any other state

2)Arguably the best state education system in the nation,

3) An agriculture base thats diversified and large.

4) A multicultural population.(Latino. Asiatic, African, & Gringo,) that strives to achieve.and invent.

6) A technology base not easily duplicated elsewhere.

All of this requires state support, planning and money.

California does have a lot of rules and regulations,,,,,but besides competing interests, there are always
some citizens that feel a need to game the system to their advantage. (Its the American way )
