After 8 years of Obama we had football players taking knees to protest mostly criminals resisting arrest getting shot by scared police officers while a few, mostly silent but good examples taught their kids to respect the police to live another day. One of the reasons I voted for Obama's first term is I thought he'd be a great example AND work to improve race relations. I was wrong and didn't vote for his second term. I call Obama a failure to use his position to make this better, but it got worse. Here is a brilliant article from one of our newest SF 49ers si.com I don't care if Richard Sherman can ever play for our 49ers as good as he did at his peak, he's a hero in my mind with that statement.
