*I have sympathy for the police... people should do as instructed and make their jobs easier.* Why, oh why, is this so difficult for some to understand? I know their parents (or parental figures if parents are MIA) never teach respect for authority but you would think they would get the message seeing what happens when they ignore this very simple rule. It's apparently no longer taught in schools because our educational system is paranoid about offending anyone. I don't care if I'm holding a Bible in my hand. If the police tells me to drop it, I will drop it.
