To thread readers in SF Bay Area,

A recent ad in Red Herring Magazine noted that a meeting of the Churchill Club on Thurs Jan 22 at 6PM at Hyatt Rickeys in Palo Alto would discuss The High-Tech Stock Outlook. Program is supported by Robertson Stephens, DMG Technology Group, H&Q, etc.

If anyone is planning to attend this meeting (a week from today) would you please post anything worthwhile?

I can't attend as I no longer live in CA -- relocated to DC -- the perils of having a political spouse........

Thanks in advance.

Len

Gottfried, I'm afraid I don't understand your post. Could you clarify the point you're making?

Whether you're agreeing or disagreeing with me (and I'm NOT MAKING A PREDICTION Jay) Wall Street has been extremely skittish, and there's no telling how it's going to react to a btb in the .92-.98 range, even though everyone has to be expecting it. I'm short 40% and long 60% today, I think chances are we'll see an overall drop tomorrow.

PS Awesome chart.
