Allen, >When I ran the test for the same period on a
Nomai disk, two blocks started showing errors and were marked bad. On the first few passes, the Nomai disk had not had any bad blocks.

You were wise to discontinue testing the Nomai disk.
This is not a suffient sample to make a general conclusion,
(as you know), but this particular disk could get worse.
If there is a head cleaning disk for the ZIP, I would use it.

Allen,
Does your Zip Plus drive seem to work with the Nomai disks? (I don't mean destructive testing - just normal read/write)

I expected them to work with the original Zip drives, but I was hoping that IOM would have taken the opportunity to put the retroreflector to good use with the Zip Plus drives.
