Thanks Carolyn, I didn't know where to post this kind of stuff after my water heater broke.

Hopefully, there will be more useful information as this thread progresses.

One thing I've found is that most infomercials only peddle junk no matter how enticing they may make it.

That is really interesting Carolyn. We bot a GE microwave oven 4 yrs ago and it stopped working after three years. We replaced it with a Frigidaire microwave oven.............I've always liked that brand................and now we are having a problem with one of the under side lights. The ones next to the fan. I think we need to spend a little more time on it and can hopefully fix it, but I'm beginning to think the quality control of modern appliances has fallen way down.
