As a long term Tellabs investor, note that Soundview has a poor track record on TLAB. Suggest bucket of salt. Also doesn't even know (or care probably) that TLAB has huge business outside US unaffected by any Bay Bell foot dragging. (The rapid build up in WLL et al may slow down due to Asian probs but that wasn't even mentioned by Soundview "Analyst") Suggest Soundview's name should be changed to Myopicview. But who knows at this point. We will know soon enough as Tellab management has been very open and clear on what has been happening and future prospects. I will pay attention to those folks. Assume Soundview's clients needed to drive stock down before options expiration. Nada mas.
