Bought two of those collapsible hoses that the Tool Guy guy advertises......

thought it would be a good idea to have a hose under the sink in the kitchen so I could use it in an emergency or since there is no outside spigot for the porch, to use it there if needed......

it was a great idea until I didn't turn the knob completely off and it burst overnight.

due to some remodeling I had baseboard heater holes in the kitchen floor and the water went straight to the basement.

Basement is all cement....nothing of value....and it had 4" of water by morning.

Stupidly, I walk right into it.....never thinking of electrocution.

I hooked up a wet vac to suck and pump the water out and an hour later I was back to just wet cement floor.

If I had put down the cement board and tile in the kitchen as planned, the entire 1st floor would have been soaked.

Can't recommend those hoses, eh?
