Sigmund, Seems to me that your statement... <<at least this management [sic AccuMed] is able to identify problems and come up with actions to address the problems.>> ...is or should be the number one priority for any management team. Problem detection and solving by management is probably an under-utilized company selection tool in many investors tool-boxes. Of course the assessment of managements skills in that particular area is no-doubtedly difficult to determine. Previous track-history is probably the best indicator. We are fortunate in the previous experience and competency level of AccuMed's management team in that respect. <Go get 'em guys/gals, make us long-term shareholders and yourselves a BIG-R.O.I., while providing something better for humanity> You have to love it, only in America....and the U.K. and Japan and.....ok, ok things have changed. I had no idea you felt so negatively about the incompetency of the existing CEO at NeoPath. Since this is an AccuMed board I won't even elaborate. Strange how in a previous posting to you, I questioned the competency of NeoPath's management "botched previous" first attempt at primary screening, due to lack of data, etc. Hope your night is better than your day.
