J. Saf,

Funny how Kessler put out FirstCalls on contracts two days after they are dug up by this thread.........

I'm sure he knew all about it.........just forgot to mention it in any of his other reports. A little Salomon envy? Blowing off a contract of this size and importance? Holy Moly! Must raise an eyebrow.

I think he found out on this thread that Skuza was expecting 1 cent and backtracked. Skuza has done much better than Kessler in the past. I hope Kessler didn't get his new number from Identix.........Skuza has not talked to Identix.

Will be interesting to see the effect of Kessler's comments.....as I saw no effect today.......would be funny if the stock moved higher through next week.......and then the earnings came through at 4 cents. Would say to me that secondary anchors are being tossed.

New York City was the largest single order in IDX's history.... 85 machines and was installed over 3 quarters.......How could Kessler think that 130+ machines could be installed in one quarter?.......Something isn't right.

JSaf - Something's rotten in the state of Kessler... Is he saying that the delay in installing in ONE quarter will be responsible for a 6 cent reduction in earnings for FY98 and a 7 cent reduction the following year? The math makes no sense to moi. Thus, I conclude that he's po'd and merely acting like a silly boy (not likely), OR Lehmann's position viv-'a- vis the IDX Board of Directors is leading him to the conclusion that IDX's immediate future is not particularly rosy in spite of his feelings about biometrics in 1998.
