Well, the remediation factories have approached some of these wayward souls, but as you know burnout victims typically burned out because of the heavy stress of figuring out how to spend all their money they made writing non-Y2K compliant code in the first place.

Asking these folks to go back and fix their code just doesn't sound like a fair thing to do. Too many memories would be relived.

Besides, they'd probably reject the offers of huge salaries. They have no need for such things as comfortable living quarters. I hear they actually like eating the left-over hamburger pieces, although here in Sedona they have to fight the large black ravens for them.
