This news about AMD continuing to have yield problems is encouraging to Intel investors. I was concerned that the Intel chips were becoming a commodity, but with AMD still struggling to produce them in volumn and Cyrix limiting themselves to the low end, things are looking a bit better.

There is still risk however, that AMD will be bought out by NSN, MOT or IBM.
