$10K into over 1 million, not too shabby and certainly respectable, BUT... but Richard Dennis turned $2500.00 borrowed from his father into more than $200 million within 7 years using an optimized portfolio model that was so simple that it required absolutely no thinking, he taught 10 inexperienced people who never traded before how to use the model and they ALL made a fortune for Richard within one year... Of the 10 people he trained, 3 dropped out within days because they couldn't exercise the discipline needed and he replaced them with 3 new people... he referred to them all as his turtles because he had just returned from a trip from Hong Kong where he was visiting a turtle farm, the idea of turtles stuck with him... This is not to say that Larry Williams was clueless, i am saying that there very certainly exists models that can be followed and applied for both long and short positions that do nothing but make money with absolutely no thinking required... the only two prerequisites are patience and discipline... unfortunately, so many traders if not most traders lack both...
