My turn to wade in and share some thoughts on this quarter's report.

1. We would have all liked to have had a big surprise like .10 EPS.
But please keep in mind how far this company has come. Last year
this number was -.55. IDT has improved their EPS by .58 in just one
year. This was not accomplished by improving market conditions in
their core business, SRAM memory. In fact, memory prices
continued to fall throughout this past year. IDT has reinvented this
company in just one year. Some of their major product lines for the
future are just now beginning to hit the market. I think this is a huge accomplishment and management should be commended.

2. Let's hope that management is taking note of AMD's yield
problems. It would appear that AMD may have fumbled the ball right
in front of IDT. Computer box makers have continually shown they
are willing to work with someone other than Intel. If we have this
simple design and good yields then let's get things cranked up and
land some significant contracts.

3. This is just my opinion, but I think IDT is being looked at by
someone as an acquisition target. There are many computer related
companies that have found themselves needing to redefine their place
in the market. IDT realized this before others and in many ways are
now ahead of the pack. If you were part of a management team that
needed to come up with new, higher margin products what would you
do? If I looked around and saw a company with this much intellectual
property, selling at this price I think it would be hard not be
interested. I also think this accounts for some of the insider buying
when quarter over quarter results were relatively unchanged. Also,
IDT has been too quiet. They went for 2 months without a press
release. I just think something's cooking.

4. I looked at Clear Logic's web page. They have a list of reps. who
will be marketing their products. I thought about calling some of
them and just asking what they know about Clear Logic. However, I
don't know enough about their products to start asking questions. I
would appreciate if someone would call one of them and see what you
can learn.

Still in the red, but feeling better,
Darrell Conrade
